Etisalat Academy signs MoU with Nokia Siemens Networks

 Dubai, June 2nd 2011: Etisalat Academy is proud to announce a joint-collaboration with Nokia Siemens Networks Oy, to offer unique training programs and skills development to customers in the region. The MoU was signed on May 31, 2011 at Holiday Inn, Knowledge Village.

The aim is of this MoU is for Nokia Siemens Networks to provide training services, learning services and learning management and development services to Etisalat, which will contribute to our long term success across the regions Etisalat operates.

David Brennan, General Manager, Etisalat Academy commented “Etisalat Academy is very proud of its newly formed association with Nokia Siemens Networks. Not only is Nokia Siemens Networks one of the world’s biggest telecommunications suppliers. This experience and capacity is a good fit for the Etisalat Academy.”

“The Academy is pleased that this partnership will result in new services within the UAE and across the Group. The first project will be a telecom-specific mini-MBA, which will provide skills and knowledge required to meet the challenges of a changing industry and market. This will add value and help broaden the business skills across our company,” he said.

Our aim is to support the Academy to build the development of employees, where and when required, with the aim of continuously building productivity. The MOU is effective for the next two years from 31 May, 2011.
