Etisalat Academy joined millions of people worldwide by participating in Earth Hour with a candlelit yoga session on Saturday evening. The session was well-attended by members of the Etisalat Academy Sports and Leisure Club, Etisalat Academy staff and other yoga enthusiasts. Yoga was chosen for this Earth Hour event as it is one of the mostaccessible and environmentally friendly sporting activities. Etisalat Academy’s ‘Green Group’ also ensured that all office equipment was switched off over the weekend, which is an activity the group intends to continue on a weekly basis. The‘Green Group’ is comprised of a number of environmentally-conscious staff members who have been implementing year round environmental initiatives such as the newly opened onsite Recycling Centre.
