Course Objectives:

The interview used alone or in conjunction with other assessment methods, remains the most popular technique for selecting job candidates. Nevertheless, many of those conducting selection interviews have received no formal training.Delegates attending this course will learn not only how to conduct an effective interview, but how to structure that interview to extract key information so that a clear recommendation can be made.

  • Instructor led classes with practical sessions, case studies and an open clinic group discussion of topics relevant to delegates' organizations.
  • Completion of an on line Occupational Personality Questionnaire in the Academy
    e-Competency Centre
  • Delegates will have practice on feedback sessions with a number of volunteers
