Course Objectives
Motivation is critical to promoting successful performance. The Motivation Questionnaire (MQ) is a unique tool, designed to identify the energy with which a person approaches tasks and situations, and the conditions which will tend to increase or decrease his or her motivation.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will be granted the following:
- Attendance Certificates from SHL Group / UK
- Attendance of this course contributes to the SHL Diploma In Occupational Assessment
Target Audience
The course is suitable for personnel, training, HR specialists and line managers who are SHL level 2 trained or are eligible for a BPS level B (intermediate) Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing.
Prerequisites
Good command of English and an involvement in management and HR functions.
Course Outline
- Developing Motivation Questionnaire (MQ) interpretation and skills
- Using motivational questionnaires to add value in a variety of contexts
- Understanding what motivates people to exert more energy in the work place
- Qualify as user of the MQ scenarios
Delivery Method
- Instructor led classes with practical sessions, case studies and an open clinic group discussion of topics relevant to delegatesʼorganizations
- Completion of an on line Occupational Personality Questionnaire in the Academy e-Competency Centre
- Delegates will practice on feedback sessions with a number of volunteers
