Course Objectives:
Job analysis and Competency Design has become one of the major challenges facing HR professionals, especially with the recent initiatives of the knowledge economy, such as e-government, e-trade, digital applications and deployments. This comes besides the changes and upgrades related to the regular posts and standard jobs in both public and private sectors, particularly in marketing, sales, customer service and administration to establish a complete “competency dictionary” for the corporate HR functions.

- Defining job analysis options
- Practical training in the 'Repertory Grid Method" methodologies
- Practical training in 'Work Profiling Systems" methodologies
- Practical training in 'Visionary Interviewing' methodologies
- Integrate the results of different 'job analysis', techniques to define competencies
- Review a range of work applications from 'job analysis', including assessment method decisions, training and development decisions and 'job value' proposition.
Delivery Method:
- Instructor led classes with practical sessions, case studies and an open clinic group discussion of topics relevant to delegates" organizations.
- Completion of an on line Occupational Personality Questionnaire in the Academy e-Competency Centre
- Delegates will have practice on feedback sessions with a number of volunteers
