Program Overview
Fast Track is an accelerated program enabling delegates to become registered SHL users of ability tests and personality questionnaires and are eligible for the British Psychological Society Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing Level A and Level B (intermediate). This gives delegates a high-quality training program whilst saving time and money.

This program is aimed at HR specialists who seek to address assessment and development issues within their organization.
Program Outlines
This course aims to equip delegates to:
- Examine a wide range of ability and aptitude tests and different versions of the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ)
- Evaluate and select appropriate ability tests and personality questionnaires for use in their organization
- Administer and score ability tests and personality questionnaires
- Interpret and give feedback on ability tests and personality questionnaire results, including via written feedback reports
- Understand how to introduce and apply the OPQ in selection, development, counselling and team building
- Relate the OPQ to competencies
- Gain critical appreciation of personality theories and assessment methods
- Understand issues relating to ethical use of ability and personality assessment methods
Delivery Methods
This course utilises the following approaches:
- Practical sessions, case studies and an open clinic session for discussion of practical topics relevant to delegates’ specific organisations
- Practice feedback sessions

- SHL Group Level 1 OT Certificate
- SHL Group Level 2 OPQ Certificate
Attendance at this course also contributes to the SHL Diploma in Occupational Assessment.
