Mohsen Malaki joined IDC in May 2001 and is based in IDC CEMA's headquarters in Prague , Czech Republic . As Research & Consulting Director of IDC's CEMA Telecommunications Group, Mr. Malaki is responsible for the strategic development of methodologies and tools, as well as research guidance and consulting engagements of IDC in the telecommunications markets in the CEMA region (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa ). His areas of expertise are channel strategy, product and service positioning and strategy in the wireline voice and data businesses.
Mr. Malaki has a wealth of experience in strategic consulting projects within the Middle East region: he has consulted to organizations such as Qatar Telecom, Integrated Networks, Cisco Systems, Siemens, ZTE, TECOM (Dubai's EITC), among others. |

Ms. Sund is actively involved in ITU's activities related to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), Next Generation Networks (NGN), Internet Governance, Spam and Cybersecurity in a variety of capacities, ranging from policy research to organizing technical workshops and international conferences.
Ms. Sund's research interests further include business development and process optimization, the Internet of Things, and how to build confidence and trust in the use of ICTs.
Ms. Sund holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management (United States of America), an undergraduate degree in economics from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (Finland) and diplomas from the University of Hong Kong and Beijing Language and Culture University (People's Republic of China). |

Ilkka Lakaniemi |

Mr Ilkka Lakaniemi, is responsible for FMC and Fixed-to-Mobile Substitution (FMS) analysis, media and regulatory relations at Nokia Networks. He worked for Nokia Ventures 2000-2003 in charge of business environment analysis for socio-economic issues.
He is a Visiting Professor/Lecturer at the Emirates Centre for Entrpreneurship, Helsinki School of Economics and Victoria University in Australia .
He is also an Industrial Fellow at the Finnish Business and Policy Forum (EVA). Prior to Nokia, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley and a Research Associate at the World Institute for Development Economic Research at the United Nations University . |

Nikhil Shah |

Mr. Nikhil Shah brings more than a decade of industry experience to Juniper Networks where he is a Director with mobile group and involved with defining strategy, product portfolio and partnerships initiatives in the area of IMS/FMC and mobile carrier solutions. He also serves as the Vice-Chairman for the MPLS Application and Deployment Working Group of MFA (MPLS/FrameRelay/ATM) Forum since July'03. ( www.mfaforum.org ). His current focus includes efficient mobility backhaul/RAN transport, QoS aware multi-service transport for IMS while working with Juniper's strategic partners. Mr. Shah is veteran participant in standards bodies and has spoken at various industry events.
Prior to Juniper, Nikhil held various engineering and management positions at Lucent Technologies, Cabletron, Zeitnet (an ATM switching start-up), Tata Consultancy Services and ISRO, India . Mr. Shah received his Bachelor and Masters degree in Computer Science from Gujarat and Bombay Universities . He also holds diploma in Business Management from Bombay and also completed Greater Boston Executive Program at MIT Sloan School of Cambridge, MA. |

He is currently (since 1998) a Principal Consultant in Convergys EMEA (previously Geneva Technology), where his main areas of expertise are Customer Care & Billing Solution Architecture, related Business Processes, Product Definition & Configuration and System Implementation.
